Young Explorers Club

Clubs

The Young Explorers Club is a vibrant, student-driven society that nurtures curiosity, critical thinking, and a global mindset. Rooted in Geography, History, and Global Citizenship, the club empowers learners to understand the world around them and their role in shaping its future.

Mission
Our mission is to inspire young minds to explore, question, and engage with their environment and society. We aim to cultivate responsible global citizens through hands-on learning, meaningful discussions, and immersive real-world experiences.

Achievements & Exposure
Since its inception, the Young Explorers Club has proudly offered members rich and memorable learning adventures beyond the classroom. Students have gained invaluable exposure through visits to:

The Fisherman’s Village – where they engaged with the coastal community, learned about traditional livelihoods, and explored the cultural heritage of the region.

Maono Space – a creative innovation hub that sparked their imagination and encouraged entrepreneurial thinking.

The Kilifi County Assembly – giving learners a first-hand experience of governance, leadership, and civic processes.

The Falconry of Kenya in Malindi – where they interacted with wildlife and deepened their understanding of conservation.

These experiences have not only enriched their knowledge but also strengthened their leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, shaping them into confident, culturally aware young leaders.
