Lilian Akoth Olando is a dedicated and highly qualified educator who has been an integral member of the staff at Sandpiper International School since 2013.

Ms. Lilian has the distinction of being one of the school's longest-serving teachers in Year 1. This extensive, consistent experience in the critical foundational phase has greatly helped her to refine and perfect her skills, enabling her to execute her role with exceptional expertise and insight. She continues to serve as the Year 1 Class Teacher, playing a vital role in shaping the foundational learning experiences of the school's youngest students.

Expertise and Responsibilities

With a strong commitment to academic excellence, Ms. Lilian possesses comprehensive training in both the Kenyan National Curriculum and the internationally recognized Pearson Edexcel Curriculum. This dual qualification allows her to deliver a robust, well-rounded, and globally competitive education to her class.

Beyond her primary role as the Year 1 Class Teacher, she takes on significant leadership responsibilities within the school's co-curricular life. She is the Teacher In-charge of all School Clubs, overseeing the operations, logistics, and quality of the entire range of student activities. In this capacity, she ensures that the school's club program offers diverse, engaging, and enriching opportunities that complement the core academic curriculum and foster holistic student development.
