Mary joined Sandpiper International School in 2021, bringing a passion for language and literature to her teaching practice. She believes that English and Literature are keys to unlocking students' potential, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and empathy.

As Head of Department for Key Stage 2, Mary provides academic leadership, overseeing curriculum development, teaching standards, and student progress. Her responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of experienced teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Monitoring student achievement
- Identifying and supporting students who require extra help or extension

Through her leadership of the Theatre Club, Mary nurtures students' creative talents, encouraging them to express themselves through drama and performance.
